There are only two kinds of love real or fake
Love is consistent with God, His character, and His acts.
He is all truth, consistent, pure. His character is real, holy, and true. His acts are just, fair, and righteous
Being that Love is action and feelings, it is measured in degrees of passion, It is not separated into types of love.
The degree in which we love certain people will be greater based on the amount and type of affection and emotions we have for others (family, friends, spouse).
The degree in which we love certain people will be greater based on the amount and type of affection and emotions we have for others (family, friends, spouse).
When more feelings are involved this produces a greater action.
When a type of feeling is involved this will produce a particular action.
When a type of feeling is involved this will produce a particular action.
However, the foundation of love is pure actions and feelings toward an individual.
So when we say "in love", we mean in infatuation, adoration, and affection, our are emotion are "all-in" (actions being consistent w/ radical feelings)
So its possible to have love for someone but not have real love for someone.
Perverted love is simply called lust.
So its possible to have love for someone but not have real love for someone.
Perverted love is simply called lust.
When I say I love myself, it doesn't mean that I like everything about myself but simply means I want the best for myself. I can want the wrong things for myself but think its the right things. It may seem i am loving myself by doing what i think, but in actuality i am hurting and hating myself by destroying myself.
Simply put Love wants what is good and beneficial for a person, it wants the best for the other person.
Loves ultimate desire is to see the object of that Love, be Most Happy.
Love is not selfish, but selfless. True Love does portray self-interest.
True love desires to finds its joy "in" the joy of another.
Real love seeks others interests before its own, & because others interests are fulfilled, loves interest are as well, because love's interest is the interest of others.
You know you are in love when you find your happiness in the happiness of another's happiness.
This pushes the right motive (feeling) for love and produces the correct result (action) of love.
Love seeks a person's greatest interest at heart even if the action cause pain for an individual to eventually enjoy a greater future prosperity. Love becomes Justified in causing that pain.
